PSC Online Resources for Dual Enrollment Students
Once you receive your PSC login information, follow these steps to access all that PSC has to offer. View the Admission Application for Dual Enrollment Students article for information about logging into PSC and Workday.
1. Log into the MyPSC using the login information you received after your acceptance email.
2. Change your password.
You will use this same login and password to access everything at PSC, such as Piratemail and the Dual Enrollment Registration Form.
You will be prompted to set up 2-factor authentication. This is a requirement to access your PSC accounts from off campus. Most students choose to have a text message sent to their phone; however, you can choose whatever authentication method works best for you.
3. Familiarize yourself with the various systems at PSC. Below are some notable programs you can access through the MyPSC. Take some time to review these and make sure you know how to find them.
-
Canvas – Your online classes are held in Canvas, and most instructors keep their virtual grade book in Canvas.
-
Outlook – You can access your PSC Email (Piratemail) in Outlook. You should check your Piratemail at least once per week. Whenever you are waiting to hear from PSC, this is the communication method you should check.
-
PSC Alert – You will receive notifications of campus closures or emergencies. You can supply your phone number and a parent’s to receive notifications from PSC Alert.
-
Technology Support – If you have questions about any PSC technology system, check out Technology Support for fast and specific answers.
-
Workday – You can view your classes, grades, and campus maps, evaluate your degree progress, request a student ID and parking decal, and more in Workday. There is also a mobile app for Workday.
4. Request your ID and Parking Decal at no cost.
If you plan to take classes on the PSC campus or use other on-campus resources, create a request for your student ID and parking decal in Workday. Get them sent to your home or pick them up in the campus Admissions Office. Remember, use Technology Support if you’re looking for more specific directions.
5. Check under Academics in Workday for the name and email of your assigned PSC Advisor.
