Disbursements and Refunds - BankMobile
Workday Terminology
Disbursement - Money credited to your student account at PSC.
Charges - The total amount of money charged for your tuition, books, and fees for an academic period.
Credit/Refund - Money remaining from financial aid after charges are paid that you may be entitled to for enrollment-related living expenses.
PSC Student Account - Your account at PSC that contains all the charges, credits, and refunds you have for an academic period.
BankMobile Account - An account you create at BankMobile to receive refunds from your PSC student account.
Personal Bank Account - An existing, personal checking account you provide to BankMobile if you want to have your refund transferred there for your use.

Student financial aid, once awarded, will be credited (disbursed) to your student account. After charges for tuition, fees, and books are paid and you have started attending each of your courses, any remaining credit balance/refund you are entitled to will be transferred to BankMobile. BankMobile delivers any financial aid balances and tuition refunds to you based on your Pensacola State Refund Selection Choice.
You have two options to receive your money:
- Deposit to an existing checking account – If you already have a checking account at another financial institution, you can choose to have BankMobile transfer your money electronically to that existing account. Your money will be sent to your existing account on the same business day BankMobile receives the funds from PSC, but it may take 1 – 2 business days for the money to be credited to your account.
- Deposit to a BankMobile Vibe Checking Account – If you open a BankMobile Vibe Checking Account (after verifying your identity), your money is deposited on the same business day BankMobile receives the funds from PSC.
Setting Up Your BankMobile Account
1. Access the BankMobile app on MyPSC. All college credit students, not including dual-enrollment students, should have the BankMobile App on their MyPSC page. Employees must register first to gain access to BankMobile. If you don't see the BankMobile app, contact Student Financial Services at 850-484-1782 or studentfinancialservices@pensacolastate.edu.
You should have received a personal code from BankMobile, either in the mail in a green envelope or to your College email.
2. Enter your personal code on the page that opens from the MyPSC app. If you've already entered your code and chosen an option, click Log In.
3. Under the User Profile tab, add, review, or update your contact information and click Submit.
4. Under the User Profile tab (or the Refund tab), select Refund Preferences and make a selection. For more information about your options, read the FAQs at the bottom of the BankMobile disbursements page.
5. Complete additional banking and/or address details.
If you elected a BankMobile card, when logging back into BankMobile, click the Activate Now button once the card is received. You can always revisit the Refund Preferences page to change this preference.
Periodically, Student Financial Services will provide BankMobile with an enrollment update, informing BankMobile if you are currently enrolled at PSC. If you selected their card for deposits and refunds and are not currently enrolled in classes, BankMobile will email you information about account feature changes.
