Connect to PSC Wi-Fi Network: ANDROID
PSC Wi-Fi Overview
Connect to PSC with
Android Apple iOS ChromeOS Linux Windows
IMPORTANT! In order to configure a device for PSC network access it must have Internet access. Devices can be set up while off campus using your home Wi-Fi network or cellular data connection, or you can temporarily use PSCvisitors if you are on campus.
-
If you have an existing profile for the PSC network in your device open your Wi-Fi settings and "forget" it. If not, you can skip to Step 2.
-
Launch your favorite web browser and navigate to https://wifi.pensacolastate.edu.
-
Your Android OS should be automatically detected. If the detection was incorrect select the correct OS in the drop-down menu. Tap Download to install the SecureW2 JoinNow app from the Google Play Store.
Install and open the SecureW2 JoinNow app.
You will need to log in using your PSC email address and network/email password.
Complete the sign-in process and click Continue.
You may be prompted to allow connecting to the network suggested by the JoinNow app. Allow the connection.
Some versions of Android OS fail to hand off to the PSC network automatically. If you are on campus check your Wi-Fi connection to ensure you are connected to the PSC network. If your device didn't automatically connect, turn Wi-Fi off then back on again and your device should connect, properly.
