Official Student Transcript
Students may need an official student transcript for application to schools, jobs, or financial aid. Parchment is a convenient and secure online credentialing platform that offers many self-service features. Parchment provides access to verified education records from Pensacola State and all other participating colleges and universities. Through Parchment, students and alumni can: Order printed or electronic transcripts. Access digital diplomas. Access digital Communication Badge when the student completes ENC 1101. Share digital certificates and Communication badges with family, friends, and employers on Facebook and LinkedIn or download a secure pdf version. To learn about processing and delivery options for requesting an official transcript, visit https://www.pensacolastate.edu/transcripts/. Follow the steps below to request an official transcript, or view the attached detailed training guide with screenshots. You can get to the Parchment website in several ways: In MyPSC, click on the Parchment icon. Go directly to Parchment's website. In Workday, look under Transcripts and Enrollment Verification in the Academics app and select Generate Official Transcript via the Parchment app. You must use Parchment to request an official transcript. To access Parchment on a mobile device, visit Parchment's website. Once you are on the Parchment website, enter your email to set up your Learner Account, then follow the instructions to request your official transcript. If you have issues, contact Parchment’s customer service number at 847-716-3005. Parchment will email resolution instructions for holds. Unofficial Student Transcript
Follow the steps below to generate an unofficial transcript in your Workday account. Need to request an official transcript? Explore the Request Official Transcript article. It is recommended to use Workday desktop to view and print transcripts. Although you can view a spreadsheet version of your unofficial transcript in the mobile app by opening the Student Records Dashboard, selecting PSC Unofficial Transcript, and entering your name, the transcript is difficult to read and will not print from the mobile app. Using the Academics App 1. In the Workday menu, select Academics App. 2. Under Transcripts and Enrollment Verification, select Generate Unofficial Transcript. 3. Under your name, check the box next to Confirm. 4. Select OK. A pop-up message will indicate the request is being processed. 5. Click the Notify Me Later button. Once the transcript request has been processed, you’ll receive an email with a link to your transcript via My Reports in Workday. You can also click the bell notification in Workday and view the available document by selecting the pdf. You can then download, print, or email the transcript. Using the Search Bar 1. In the search bar, type Generate Unofficial Transcript. 2. Select the Generate Unofficial Transcript for Student task. 3. In the popup box, check the box next to Confirm. 4. Select OK. A pop-up message will indicate the request is being processed. 5. Click the Notify Me Later button. Once the transcript request has been processed, you’ll receive an email with a link to your transcript via My Reports in Workday. You can also click the bell notification in Workday and view the available document by selecting the pdf. You can then download, print, or email the transcript. Workday Notification Click the bell in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Then view the available document by selecting the pdf in the details. Maintain Student Contact Information
It's important to confirm your contact information, such as your home address, personal email, and phone number, is always up to date in Workday. Like many things in Workday, there are multiple ways to achieve the same thing. Under your Timely Suggestions, you may notice an alert to Update Contact Info from time to time. This alert will not disappear until you review your contact details and click submit. It will then disappear from your Timely Suggestions for six months once completed and reappear when it's time to verify again. If you need to make a new change and the Timely Suggestion is no longer available, you can access the Change My Home Contact Information task by locating it in the search bar. Or follow the steps below, on either Workday desktop or mobile, to make the change from your student profile. Desktop 1. Open your profile by clicking on your profile picture or the person icon. 2. Select View Profile. 3. In the blue sidebar, click Contact. 4. Click the edit button and use the pencil icon for any sections you want to update. Or click the add button to add multiple contact details. Mobile 1. Select the Profile icon at the bottom of the screen. If you're an employee, click your student record first. 2. Click Contact. 3. Click Contact again. Confirm that the details are correct. 4. If you need to change anything, click Edit. 5. Make the necessary changes and click Submit.

Change of Program
Follow the steps below in Workday to complete a change of program of study request. Your request will go to an advisor for review and approval. If you're applying for a different academic level, for example, A.A. to Vocational, you'll need to submit a new application here. New Applicants If you recently submitted a College application, you cannot change the program of study you applied for while under review. Depending on your application, the Admissions office may be able to change your applied program of study. Contact them at 850-484-2544, email admissions@pensacolastate,edu, or join PirateQ for virtual assistance. Depending on the change, you may be required to submit a new application here. 1. Click on the person icon or your profile picture. 2. Click View Profile. If you're a student and employee, select your Student Profile vs. your Worker Profile on the right side of the page to access profile actions related to the correct one. To change your default profile, view the Default Profile View article. 3. Click Academics in the blue sidebar. 4. Scroll to the right of the table and select the Request button. If a drop-down menu appears, select Change My Program of Study. Note - This button may not be available if there are any pending processes in your account. Contact your Academic Advisor for questions. View the Locate Your Academic Advisor article for assistance. 5. Click the – sign to the left of the Program of Study you want to remove, including any advising track(s) that will no longer be bundled with your new Program of Study. 6. Click + and search for the New Program of Study. If requesting an AA, add the appropriate advising track by clicking + again and searching in the new box. If you are unsure, contact Academic Advising at 850-484-1630 or advising@pensacolastate.edu. 7. Check the Is Primary box. 8. On the right, input the Expected Completion Date (approximately two years). 9. Please see your advisor if you want to change majors during an academic period. Otherwise, please use 01/01 for Spring, 05/11 for Summer, and 08/11 for Fall as the Declare Date. 10. Click Submit. The You have submitted dialogue box will advise what will happen next with this change. To view more details, click View Details or click X to exit. Once the new Change My Program of Study is approved, usually within 2 days, it will display in your profile overview tab as In Progress, and the removed Program of Study will show discontinued.

Academic Requests
As a student, you can create requests in Workday to initiate changes related to your student account. This article outlines Academic requests. Additional request types include Records, Cashier, Financial Aid, and more. Contact your advisor if you have questions about the Request types and want to determine if you qualify. Follow these steps to explore the Academic request types or view these related articles Student Financial Requests and Student Records Requests. When accessing the requests in Workday, the form will provide additional details and requirements or see the Academic request type descriptions displayed after step 2. 1. Search and access the Create Request task. 2. Choose your Request Type from the dropdown menu. You can click All or type to search by name. Below are the Academic request types. Academic Request Types (This list is subject to change, so access the request types in Workday to see available options.) Dismissal Appeal Request - A student on an Academic Suspension waiver who does not meet the minimum grade requirement of C or better to continue on the Academic Suspension waiver will be placed on Academic Dismissal. A student in Academic Dismissal status will not be allowed to enroll at Pensacola State College for one academic year. A student in Academic Dismissal status may request a waiver by submitting this request. Maximum (or Multiple Attempt) and Full Cost of Instruction Notification - Florida Law permits students to enroll in a college credit or developmental education course twice without penalty. By submitting this request, you agree to the legislative requirements and are responsible for the full cost of instruction for courses attempted more than twice. The full cost of instruction is approximately three times the amount of regular tuition, and Financial Aid might not cover it. Request for Student ID Card - With an approved profile picture uploaded in Workday, this request prints student ID cards for pick-up or mailing. Suspension Appeal Request - Submit this form to request an appeal from suspension. All requests will display required fields requesting more information. Some may require supporting documentation. Please fill out these forms accurately and with detail to prevent delays. You can start this request and return later by clicking Save For Later. 3. Click Submit once you have finished. If you decide not to proceed, choose to Cancel, and your request will not be saved. You will be notified in Workday of approval or denial.

Student Records Requests
As a student, you can create requests in Workday to initiate changes related to your student account. When accessing the requests in Workday, the form will provide additional details and requirements or see the Student Records request type descriptions below. 1. Open the Academics app and click Create Request under the Requests menu. Another way to access the task is to click Create Request or type Create Request in the search bar. 2. Select the Request Type from the drop-down menu. 3. Complete all required fields. 4. Click Submit. Please fill out these requests accurately and with details to prevent delays. Some may require supporting documentation. You will be notified in Workday of approval or denial. Student Records Request Types (This list is subject to change, so access the request types in Workday to see available options.) Graduation Application - Students must use this form to apply for graduation. For more details, view the Apply and RSVP for Graduation article. You must submit a separate RSVP form to confirm attendance at the commencement ceremony. Institutional Withdrawal - Due to unforeseen circumstances, please complete this form to request withdrawal from Pensacola State College. Late Withdrawal - Please fill out this request if you are requesting to withdraw from a class after the established withdrawal deadline. Request for Catalog Requirement Update - Submit this request for a change in the catalog year assignment. This requires justification for updating the Requirements Effective Date on your Academic Progress.

Drop, Swap, and Withdraw from Courses
Students can add and drop courses without impacting their records during open enrollment or registration appointments. Each Academic Period has a window for schedule adjustments. Once that window closes, students may drop a course before the last day to withdraw and accept a withdrawal grade. Please see the Academic & Registration Calendar for the Academic Period dates. Follow the steps below, on either Workday desktop or mobile, to drop, swap, or withdraw from your course(s) during permitted times. The mobile app will only allow you to drop courses, not withdraw or swap them. Drop, Swap, and Withdraw on Desktop 1. Open the Academics app. 2. Select View My Courses. 3. Review enrolled courses. Review the Meeting Patterns to see the campus/location for each course section. Pay attention to your load status. Dropping below full-time status may have severe implications for multiple critical areas. To adjust, click the Actions button and select Drop, Swap, or Withdraw during the add/drop window. Drop 1. On the View My Courses screen, select Actions, followed by Drop. This button will only appear during the drop period. 2. Select Confirm. 3. Click OK. 4. Select Done. Swap 1. On the View My Courses screen, select Actions, followed by Swap. This button will only appear during the swap period. 2. Click New Course or New Section. 3. Use the drop-down menu to search for the new course or new section to swap to. 4. Click OK. 5. Select the course or course section you want to take. If you're swapping courses, click Confirm Swap. 6. Click OK. 7. Review the Swap Student Course Registration screen. Withdraw To determine the last class withdrawal date, visit the Academic & Registration Calendar. Financial Aid recipients should discuss their intended withdrawals with a representative in the Financial Aid Office at 850-484-1680 or fava@pensacolastate.edu. Veteran benefit students should discuss their intended withdrawals with a member of the Veteran Services Office at 850-484-1670 or veterans@pensacolastate.edu. 1. On the View My Courses screen, select Actions, followed by Withdraw. This button will only appear during the withdrawal period. 2. Select Confirm Withdraw from Course, and read the Alert. 3. If you would still like to withdraw, click OK. Depending on your student status, your withdrawal request may be automatically forwarded to your advisor for approval. Once your advisor approves your withdrawal, you will receive a notice in your Workday Inbox asking you to complete a questionnaire explaining why you wish to withdraw from the course. 4. Complete the Questionnaire and click Submit. Your course will then be removed from your schedule and appear under My Dropped/Withdrawn Courses in View My Courses. My Dropped/Withdrawn Courses 1. Open the Academics app. 2. Select View My Courses. The My Dropped/Withdrawn Courses tab will appear under the academic period, which can be expanded or collapsed for more details. This section will not populate if no classes have been dropped or withdrawn. Drop Courses on Mobile On the Workday mobile app, you can only drop courses, not swap or withdraw. You can only drop courses during the scheduled drop/add period. To drop a course on the mobile app, follow these steps. These steps and screenshots could appear slightly different depending on the type of device and software you’re using. 1. On the home screen, select the Academic app. 2. Select Courses & Pre-Registration Plans. 3. Select Registered Courses. 4. Click on the arrow next to the course you want to drop from your schedule. iPhone users may need to select the Academic Period first. 5. Select the Drop button. 6. Purge Process - Dropped Classes
As fee deadlines approach during each academic period, students may be dropped for non-payment of tuition and fees. Refer to the Academics & Registration Calendar for the upcoming deadlines. If fees aren't paid by the deadline, students will be dropped for those classes and notified in their College email. This email will instruct students to contact their academic advisor for assistance. Sample Email: Students may also be dropped from classes when instructors verify attendance. Refer to the Academics & Registration Calendar for the upcoming deadlines. If the instructor indicates the student didn't attend, students will be dropped for those classes and notified in their College email. This email will include instructions on where to see what classes were dropped and how to resolve them. Sample Email:

Books and Materials
Students must purchase the required books and materials for their courses before the start of the academic period. To determine what is required, access the Academics app in Workday. View your Current Schedule on the Academics dashboard. Select the Course Listing. Books and Materials are located under Course Materials. We accept multiple forms of payment, including credit cards and all forms of Financial Aid (with a paid schedule). PSC Bookstores are open with limited hours and accessibility on the Pensacola and Warrington campuses, and online purchases can be mailed or selected for in-store pickup. Visit the Bookstore page for more details and select which campus to order from. When shopping online, you can also determine what books and materials are needed by searching by the academic period or term and clicking Find Courses. Using the filters, enter the department, course, and section. If you're unsure of those details, repeat steps 1-3 in Workday, and the course section details will display. You can make multiple selections at once. Click Delete to remove. Select Find Materials for course(s). All required materials will populate. If items are out of stock, you can request an email when available. Otherwise, add desired items to your cart. You can also save items to your Wishlist and print your list if you prefer. To store payment information, click My Account, followed by Financial Aid/Scholarships. Here you can store a card on file or use the Financial Aid/Scholarship search to locate your account by entering your student ID. If it indicates your Financial Aid/Scholarship is not open to use online, contact Student Financials at 850-484-1782 or studentfinancialservices@pensacolastate.edu. When you're ready to checkout, click the shopping cart and complete all the required details, including delivery method and payments.

Student Legal Name Change
To submit a legal name change in Workday, follow the below steps. Please keep in mind that legal name changes submitted during the Financial Aid award periods could delay processing. Search and access the Change My Legal Name task. The effective date will default to today, but it can be changed. Make the corrections. Attach legal documentation of the name change. Select from the Category drop-down to indicate what kind of documentation is included. You may also include a description, although not required. Click Submit.
