To submit a legal name change in Workday, follow the below steps. Please keep in mind that legal name changes submitted during the Financial Aid award periods could delay processing.

1. Search and access the Change My Legal Name task.
2. The effective date will default to today, but it can be changed.
3. Make the corrections.
4. Attach legal documentation of the name change. Select from the Category drop-down to indicate what kind of documentation is included. You may also include a description, although not required.
5. Click Submit.
