Student Legal Name Change
To submit a legal name change in Workday, follow the below steps. Please keep in mind that legal name changes submitted during the Financial Aid award periods could delay processing.
- Search and access the Change My Legal Name task.
- The effective date will default to today, but it can be changed.
- Make the corrections.
- Attach legal documentation of the name change. Select from the Category drop-down to indicate what kind of documentation is included. You may also include a description, although not required.
- Click Submit.
